Bradford & Barthel Expands Legal Services
by James H. Hummel, Esq.

For years B&B has offered aggressive defense of workers' compensation and subrogation matters. Taking yet another step towards our goal of providing the full array of legal expertise to assist our clients in avoiding the potential litigation pitfalls and dangers that lurk in California's increasingly complicated and hostile business environment, we have dramatically expanded the scope of our services.

James E. Hummel (and his 30+ years of litigation experience!) is leading the charge out of our Rancho Cucamonga offices. He is joined by Barbara Buchholtz , who heads the B&B Employment and Labor Law section. Peter V. Fitzpatrick's dozen years' of experience rounds out this highly experienced, aggressive department. This team leads a statewide battalion of attorneys who understand your statewide needs and the "local" rules.

To further serve our clients' needs, the biographies of all our attorneys can be reviewed on our website, along with their areas of expertise and venues served. (See http://www.bradfordbarthel.com/attorneys.htm.) We stand ready to represent your interests in virtually any area, including personal injury, governmental issues, construction defects and medical malpractice.

One program many of our clients regularly praise is B&B's review service. Free-of-charge to our valuable clients, a B&B expert visits the client's place of business to review files for potential issues. As they say, "An ounce of prevention..."!

Additional B&B programs include educational seminars for individuals and groups. Topics include Legal Updates, Sexual Harassment, Subrogation Pointers, AMA Guides and Ratings. With the law in constant flux, these programs endeavor to give you the competitive edge you need.

Need a subrogation handbook? Our subrogation primer is available to you free of charge.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact James E. Hummel at (909) 466-5909 or send e-mail to jhummel@socal.bradfordbarthel.com. If you need assistance with a civil matter, or just are not certain of your rights, remedies or responsibilities, we will be happy to assist you.

James E. Hummel is Partner and Managing Attorney for the Rancho Cucamonga Subrogation and Civil Litigation office.
