Dacia Caswell graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 1983 and then obtained a Paralegal Certificate from University of Southern California in 1985. She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 1988 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1989. She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
In addition to her workers' compensation experience, Ms. Caswell has worked in a variety of civil litigation disciplines, including general negligence, premises liability, products liablity, negligence, defamation, accounting malpractice, breach of contract, intentional torts, personal injury, uninsured motorist, and subrogation.
Ms. Caswell has defended 15 jury trials to verdict and has defended, drafted, and argued countless civil law and motion matters including motions for summary judgment, post trial motions, and appeals. She is also well versed in cross-examination within the medical disciplines of orthopedics, neurology, psychiatry, and internal medicine.
Prior to attending college, Ms. Caswell studied ballet with the New York City Ballet's School of American Ballet and danced professionally with Ballet Society of Los Angeles.
