In 1994 Dan Dailey graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He received his Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University in 2000.
Mr. Dailey initially planned on pursuing a criminal defense career and spent eight months in this arena. Thereafter, realizing the exciting challenges of practicing workers' compensation defense, he commenced his training with the Law Offices of Richard Zaks. When he arrived at Bradford & Barthel, he brought with him his expanded knowledge of workers' compensation law.
Mr. Dailey recently secured a workers' compensation fraud conviction which resulted in a $76,000 restitution order for his client as well as dismissal of the workers' compensation claim. Mr. Dailey is currently working on three pending fraud cases with the District Attorney's Office in Los Angeles County.
Following the new rules promulgated by the AMA Guides and by SB 899, Mr. Dailey has participated in several seminars, lectures, and training on the changes.
In February of 2004, Mr. Dailey had his first child, a beautiful daughter, who currently consumes all of his extra-curricular time.
