David Grant was born in Los Angeles and has lived in California all his life. He spent four years in the U.S. Navy, and thereafter he graduated from Cal State University, San Bernardino with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. He studied law at the University of La Verne, where he received two American Jurisprudence Awards. He graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1982 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1982.
During law school Mr. Grant was employed as a Deputy Labor Commissioner, and he began practicing workers' compensation law following his admission to the bar.
Mr. Grant has also been admitted to practice before both the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals.
Practicing workers' compensation defense for 22 years, Mr. Grant has been a partner at Bradford & Barthel since 1997. He has served as both the managing attorney for the Rancho Cucamonga office and as managing partner for the firm. His continued legal analysis of significant case decisions provides ongoing training to the entire firm, clients, and employers.
Mr. Grant has been married to his lovely wife, Pat, for 29 years and has helped raise two children.
