Gary Lopez was born in Dinuba, California. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Criminology/Law and Society and Psychology/Social Behavior.
Mr. Lopez received his Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2003. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2004.
During his studies at Santa Clara University, Mr. Lopez clerked for the San Mateo County District Attorney's office, Felony Division. He researched, wrote, and argued various motions before the Superior Court.
Mr. Lopez started his career in workers' compensation as a student advising injured workers at Santa Clara University's East San Jose Community Law Center. In 2004 he joined Bradford & Barthel where his primary area of practice continues to be workers' compensation law.
When he is not in the office, Mr. Lopez enjoys fishing, camping, biking, snowboarding, movies, cooking, and traveling back to the Central Valley to visit family and friends.
