Profile

Greg Fletcher studied art and music at Southern Utah State College in Cedar City, Utah. He performed and recorded music with a number of musical and theatrical groups in the San Diego area.

He went to law school in the night program at National University School of Law in San Diego, California. Based on his LSAT scores he received a full tuition scholarship for the first year. While in law school, Mr. Fletcher clerked at the San Diego Public Defender's Office, assisting a visually impaired attorney in court, as well as drafting motions and appeals. He graduated in 1988 with the highest cumulative grade point average in the history of his law school. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1989.

After doing contract work for about a year, he was hired by Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in 1990 to work at the in-house legal office in Orange, California doing workers' compensation defense. He transferred to Liberty's San Francisco legal office in 1995.

In 1997, Mr. Fletcher left Liberty Mutual to join the Narayan Law Firm, located at that time in San Francisco. His work primarily consisted of insurance defense civil litigation.

In 1999, Mr. Fletcher joined Bradford & Barthel in the Fresno office. When he started, the office had two attorneys. By 2002, the Fresno office of Bradford & Barthel had grown to seven attorneys.

Mr. Fletcher managed the Sacramento office of Bradford & Barthel from 2002 to 2007. He was made a partner in the firm in 2004.

On a more personal note, Mr. Fletcher's wife, Thulisile, immigrated to the United States from Swaziland in southern Africa. He has visited her country on a number of occasions and has an extensive collection of African music.
