Mike Pellascio obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics from the University of California at Davis in 1974. He worked in medical research in joint projects with Stanford University and the V.A. Hospital in Palo Alto for seven years before joining Safeco Insurance Company in 1981 as a claims adjuster, then as department supervisor.
He joined D.L. Glaze independent insurance adjusters in 1984 and managed their Chico, California office until 2001. Mr. Pellascio has twenty years of experience working with property and personal injury claims. He attended Oak Brook College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2000, and he was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2001.
In September of 2001, Mr. Pellascio took an administrative position with a non-profit international educational organization in Illinois where he also provided assistance to their corporate counsel. He supervised a staff of fifty, coordinating projects and speaking at conferences of up to 12,000 in five different countries.
Mr. Pellascio has been in the Bradford & Barthel Redding office since 2004. His primary area of practice is workers' compensation. He was a featured speaker at the January 2006 Lorman conference on workers' compensation.
Mr. Pellascio and his wife of nearly thirty years, Susan, have eight children and five grandchildren. They are active members of Grace Baptist Church of Redding.
