Patricia N. Carlos received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Davis, with Highest Honors in 1996. During her undergraduate years, she spent one year studying in Mexico City at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. Ms. Carlos earned her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa in 1999. While in law school, she was tapped for the Trial Advocacy Honors Board and served as Vice President for the Hispanic Law Student Association. She is a member of the State Bar of California and is licensed to practice in the California State Court as well as all California Federal District Courts.
Ms. Carlos' professional experience includes working as a client's rights advocate in the Los Angeles Office of Clients' Rights Advocacy, where she represented individuals with developmental disabilities. Her background also includes several years of experience in the field of consumer bankruptcy and workers' compensation. Ms. Carlos is a shrewd negotiator with exceptional skills in client relations, which she brings to Bradford & Barthel's Tarzana office. In 2009, the firm welcomed Ms. Carlos as its newest partner.
Outside of work, Ms. Carlos enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She has visited Mexico, where she can use her fluent Spanish, as well as Japan, South Korea, China, and Europe.
