Scott Rountree graduated from the University of California Los Angeles in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
Mr. Rountree's workers' compensation career started in 1991 at State Compensation Insurance Fund where he was a claims examiner. He has also worked at Fremont Compensation and Zenith Insurance companies as an examiner. His responsibilities at Fremont and Zenith included being a backup supervisor and providing input on various workflow committees. He obtained the Workers' Compensation Claims Professional designation from the Insurance Education Institute in 2000.
In 2000, Mr. Rountree transitioned to the legal department at Fremont as a Hearing Representative. In 2001, he came on board at Bradford & Barthel as a hearing representative in the Tarzana office. His responsibilities included all aspects of litigation from opening a file through trial.
From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Rountree was at Safeco Insurance Company as a hearing representative. He obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2005 from the Woodland Hills campus of the University of West Los Angeles and returned to B&B in 2006.
Apart from full time work, Mr. Rountree enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and three sons.
