With Bradford & Barthel since 1998, Stephen Donovan is a Sacramento local. Born to a military family at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Mr. Donovan was educated by the Jesuits. He attended the University of California at Berkeley, and in 1986 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy.
Following undergraduate school, Mr. Donovan had stints as a bartender, securities broker, speech writer, and legislative analyst.
Mr. Donovan attended the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 1993. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1994.
Mr. Donovan has a particular affinity for public employee cases. On a lighter note, he is also a trivia maven who was a gloriously unsuccessful contestant on "Jeopardy." |
