Tamika Westfield Williams, a California native, is a graduate of Stanford University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology in 1994.
After graduating from college, she became a corps member of "Teach for America," a non-profit organization which places recent college graduates in teaching positions in underserved communities across the country. Ms. Williams taught middle school math and science for four years in Los Angeles, California and was a 1998 "Teacher of the Year" nominee for the Los Angeles Unified School District.
Ms. Williams then attended Loyola Law School as one of six Public Interest Scholars and received her Juris Doctorate in 2001. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in December of 2001.
Ms. Williams joined the Fullerton office of Bradford & Barthel, LLP in March of 2004. Prior to joining Bradford & Barthel, Ms. Williams' practice included commercial litigation and labor and employment counseling and litigation as an associate with the law firm of Bryan Cave, LLP. As a labor and employment attorney, Ms. Williams represented numerous clients in Labor Code Section 132(a) and Serious and Willful matters.
On a personal note, Ms. Williams is married to Robert, a detective with the Hawthorne Police Department. They have a son and a daughter, Jordan and Lauren, who are three-year-old twins. Ms. Williams is also the mother of two teenaged stepsons, Jonathan and Robert.
