Tema Levine is a graduate of the University of California Santa Cruz where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with college honors in Political Science. She attended Loyola Law School and received her Juris Doctorate in 1980. She was admitted to the State Bar of California on December 16, 1980, and the United States District Court on May 27, 1982.
Ms. Levine gained extensive workers' compensation experience commencing with the highly renowned law firm of Rose, Klein and Marias where she practiced as an applicant's attorney between 1980 to 1991. She went on to Rose, Siegel and Reff from 1991 to 1996 as a defense attorney, and she became the Managing Attorney at the Los Angeles Regional Office of Zenith Insurance Company from 1996 to 2000.
At Zenith, Ms. Levine was the selected recipient of the Employee of the Year Award in 1999. She was instrumental in establishing a round-table strategy "double-play" review of files and handling special accounts with complex litigation needs.
Ms. Levine's litigation portfolio contains the highest number of "Take-Nothing" awards received at the Van Nuys, Los Angeles, and Santa Monica Boards. With a long history and developed experience in the field of workers' compensation, she has been a key player in the Tarzana office of Bradford & Barthel since 2002, bringing together her knowledge and experience in handling her own files as well as mentoring young attorneys in trial practice and procedure.
