Thomas D. Murphy graduated from California State University of Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He completed his Juris Doctorate at the University of San Fernando College of Law in Los Angeles.
Mr. Murphy has over 20 years of experience in workers' compensation and personal injury practice. He has worked both in-house as well as in the private sector. Mr. Murphy has defended insurance carriers on punitive damage law suits before juries, including cases where the demand of the jury has been $1,000,000.00. Mr. Murphy was a court-appointed arbitrator from 1983 through 1993 and has presented oral argument of the Court of Appeals before the State of California.
In addition to his full-time employment, Mr. Murphy has been happily married to his lovely wife for 18 years.
