William R. Olson attended San Jose State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Geology. He then obtained an Master of Science in Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines. He further obtained a Masters of Business Adminitration in Finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. He then received his Juris Doctorate from California Pacific School of Law.
Mr. Olson was involved in oil and gas exploration and production for Chevron Corporation as a geophysicist and Exploration Manager. He began practicing law in 1997, and has been specializing in Workers' Compensation Defense since 2000. Mr. Olson has conducted more than 100 trials, and has extensive experience in attacking and reducing PD ratings rendered by evaluating physicians under the AMA Guides.
Personally, Mr. Olson is a competition water-skier who enjoys living in the San Francisco Bay area with wife and adopted daughter.
