Cynthia L. Crosby graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She completed her Juris Doctorate at UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. She started in Worker’s Compensation on the applicant’s side, working for the inimitable Kenneth H. Rowen. Eventually she moved to the defense and worked alongside the labor lawyers in a large labor firm in Los Angeles. In 1994 she started her own firm, Senkow and Crosby, with partner Allan Senkow, specializing in government entity litigation and resolution of workers’ compensation cases. When she moved to San Diego in 2002, she worked with both private firms and house counsel. She joined Bradford & Barthel in 2011, bringing more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of litigation, including representation of employers in 132a and Serious and Willful Misconduct claims. Cynthia has particular expertise in government entity cases, and enjoys creative resolution of complex issues. She has acted as a judge pro tem at several WCAB locations. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court in the Central District. She and her husband of 24 years enjoy the company of their two cats, Zeba and Cristal.
