Michael Zima has been involved with defending workers’ compensation cases since May of 1979. In those 32 years, he has served as an examiner, investigator, supervisor, manager, self-insurance administrator, and hearing representative. Mr. Zima has fought fraud at the grass roots level, and he has brought hundreds of cases to final disposition. Mr. Zima graduated from the English Department of San Francisco State University with an emphasis in Creative Writing. He is also a graduate of the University of La Verne, College of Law. Michael is certified as a Self-Insurance Administrator, and has managed the self-insurance programs of companies such as Weyerhaeuser and Hewlett-Packard. Michael Zima and his wife of 33 years are the proud parents of a daughter, a clinical dietician in the ICU at a major Southern California hospital, and, a son, still in high school. |
