Nancy Jacobs, Esq.

Nancy Jacobs obtained her Juris Doctorate from Ventura College of Law. She has been part of the workers’ compensation community for a number of years, representing employers, insurance carriers, and adjusting agencies. Ms. Jacobs has practiced exclusively in the field of workers’ compensation defense. It is her philosophy to be proactive to affect the most expeditious and advantageous resolutions possible.

Prior to joining Bradford & Barthel, Ms. Jacobs worked for another firm that specialized in Workers’ Compensation defense for over nine years. She was key in getting the firm started on e-filing in 2008, and acted as their EAMS administrator. As the EAMS administrator Ms. Jacobs trained staff in multiple offices on how to e-file using the EAMS system and acted as the contact person between the WCAB’s EAMS administrator and her office. Being the EAMS Administrator provided her with the skills and knowledge to navigate the WCAB’s electronic files quickly and efficiently, providing clients with up to date information.

Ms. Jacobs was born in Oxnard and has lived in Ventura County her whole life. However, she has traveled through out the United States and to Japan, South Africa, and the Caribbean. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband of 10 years and their daughter. She also enjoys wakeboarding, wake surfing, indoor tunnel flying, and cooking.
